To provide educational assistance to those providing compassionate support services.
Applicants must be students committed to offering compassionate support services to those dealing with illness, death, grief, or trauma, especially where violent acts such as suicide must be addressed; must be residents of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington (applicants are considered residents of one of these states if they currently live within that state or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the last five years); must be pursuing postsecondary education in the upcoming school year.
Preference given to mental health practitioners.
