To promote high quality health information and benefit the public, healthcare providers, and other clinical data users.
Applicant must be an AHIMA member with Minnesota designated as their component state association; must be enrolled in an in-state or out-of-state CAHIIM accredited HIM program (unless doctoral, which can be any accredited university nationwide); must have completed 50% of the total required program credits from a Health Information Management associate, baccalaureate, or master’s degree; must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA; must have at least one term left to complete or be enrolled in their last term at time of award date; must not have previously won a MNHIMA Scholarship in the category for which they are applying.
Selection will be based on merit.
