Applicants must be a major in health, physical education, recreation or dance; have completed (or be enrolled in) a minimum of 60 semester/90 quarter units of college work; be a resident of California and attend a California 2 or 4-year college/university; have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA; be a CAHPERD member for a minimum of 30 days; student recipients must wait one year before they can qualify as candidates; be Asian, African American, Latino or Native American ve American students majoring in Health, Physical Education, Recreation or Dance; have completed (or be enrolled in) a minimum of 60 semester/90 quarter units of college work; have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA; and be CAHPERD members for a minimum of 30 days prior to application.
