To support the highest ranked minority applicants in their continuing education.
Applicants must be Asian, African American, Latino, or Native American students majoring in Health, Physical Education, Recreation or Dance; have completed (or be enrolled in) a minimum of 60 semester/90 quarter units of college work; be residents of California and attend a two- or four-year college/university within California; have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA; and be CAHPERD members for a minimum of 30 days prior to application.
Awarded to the highest ranked minority applicant (Asian, African American, Latino or Native American) from all minority applications submitted for scholarship program.
