Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii and a graduate of the ‘Imi Ho’ola Post-Baccalaureate Program of the University of Hawai’i, John A. Burns School of Medicine; must be pursuing a Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD) at the University of Hawai‘i, John A. Burns School of Medicine as a full-time student; must demonstrate financial need and good academic standing.
Preference is given in the following order: 1. renewal candidates up to four years; 2. medical students who received a scholarship from the ‘Imi Ho’ola Leadership Scholarship Fund at Hawaii Community Foundation, with a preference for first-year medical students; 3. female students.
