To provide one Muslim(boy) and one Muslimah(girl) funds to gain a four-year college degree and also who are a minority in Bellary and have financial challenges and wants to continue education.
Applicants must be Muslim (boy or girl) seeking admission in Bellary colleges for 4 year or above professional course/college through Government quota into Medical, Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, Management etc., residents by birth in Bellary District and attended high school and pre-university courses on the same place with no more than Rs. 1 lakh per year of Household income (provide proof of income of parents).
Selection will be verification of documents and student with highest score; exceptional character; extracurricular activities or talent and leadership skills; no other scholarship has been accepted; any false declaration will result in forfeit of the scholarship and prosecution for perjury; the Bijli Foundation Charitable Trust located in Cowl Bazaar, Bellary, Office bearers will investigate the authenticity of documents and personal data submitted.
