To support the education of those women of color who are advocates of LGBTQ community.
Applicants must be women of color who have demonstrated history of activism and/or leadership in the LGBTQ community pursuing a degree in education, women’s health, or dance; must be residents of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington (applicants are considered residents of one of these states if they currently live within that state or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the last five years).
Priority given to LGBTQ+ students who need it most, for example, those who have faced family rejection and/or systemic barriers to educational access or have demonstrated commitment to advancing justice and the well-being of their communities.
