Purpose for the scholarship
To address the needs of nursing students enrolled at an eligible Wisconsin institution that prepares them to be licensed as nurses, either RN or LPN.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be students enrolled in a participating UW, Wisconsin Technical College or private, nonprofit post-secondary institution in the state; must be Wisconsin residents; must be enrolled at least half-time in a degree or certificate program leading to a nursing license, master’s degree in nursing or doctoral degree in nursing; must make satisfactory academic progress; must demonstrate financial need; applicants must agree to practice full-time as a licensed nurse and/or as a nurse educator in Wisconsin for the term of the forgiveness period.
