Purpose for the scholarship
To support Rhode Island residents pursuing nursing education in the state.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be Rhode Island residents; must be attending an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree nursing programs in the state of Rhode Island and have completed one or more years of the program; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Selection criteria among applicants
Preference will be given to students who plan on practicing in Rhode Island after they graduate.
