Purpose for the scholarship
To provide nursing scholarships for residents of Lapeer County.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must have completed one year or more of college and have been accepted into a nursing program approved by the Michigan Board of Nursing or may also be certified as an RN pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing; Applicants must also be a resident of the following school districts: Almont, Dryden, Imlay City, Lakeville, Lapeer, and North Branch.

Selection criteria among applicants
Recipients are selected based on financial need, scholastic record of the applicants and recommendations from college faculty and official of the college.
