Purpose for the scholarship
To encourage individuals to pursue medical careers.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must have attended high school in Wood County and must be entering or currently in medical school; to be eligible for a scholarship from the PACF, a student generally has to reside in one of the counties in the Foundation’s service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio.
