Purpose for the scholarship
To support Marion County students pursuing degrees in medical fields.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or previous graduate from a Marion County high school, OR a senior and candidate for graduation/ completion from a home school, eSchool, digital/online school, virtual academy, community school, or other state recognized charter non-public school; must have been residents of Marion County for at least two years prior to application; must have a minimum 2.5 GPA; must be pursuing a degree in health care, such as medicine, nursing, allied health, or similar fields; must be attending Ohio State University, Marion campus, or Marion Technical College

Selection criteria among applicants
Special consideration for applicants attending Marion Technical College and those who intend to remain in Marion, Ohio, after graduation for their job/career.
