Purpose for the scholarship
To provide scholarships to employees or dependents of employees of Kahala Senior Living Community, Inc.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii and a current employee or a dependent of an employee of Kahala Senior Living Community, Inc.; must be attending an accredited college or university or vocational education program in Hawai’i; must have a minimum 2.7 GPA (2.0 for vocational students) and demonstrate financial need.

Selection criteria among applicants
Preference given to those majoring in fields of benefit to senior care, which may include but is not limited to, nursing and culinary arts.
