Levels of education pursued qualifying for scholarship

Purpose for the scholarship
To provide scholarships for students from the west side of the island of Hawai’i who are studying Marine Science, Biotechnology, Health Sciences, or Early Childhood Education.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii and a graduate of a public high school in the districts of North Kona, South Kona, North Kohala, South Kohala, or Ka‘u; must be attending an accredited two- or four-year not for profit institution in the United States as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student; must be majoring in marine sciences, biotechnology, health sciences, or early childhood education; must have a minimum 2.7 GPA and demonstrate financial need.
