Purpose for the scholarship
To provide scholarships for students from Hawai’i who are pursuing higher education in a medical-related field.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii pursuing an education in a medical-related field; must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need; must be attending an accredited two- or four-year not for profit institution in the United States as an undergraduate or graduate student

Selection criteria among applicants
Preference is given to students from the Island of Hawai‘i.
