Purpose for the scholarship
To support residents of Kauai who are pursuing graduate degrees in nursing.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a resident of Kauai, Hawaii pursuing a graduate degree in nursing with an intent to become a Nurse Practitioner Clinician; must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

Selection criteria among applicants
Preference given to those with a strong intention to return to Kauai to specialize in gerontology or family practice, in that order.
