Purpose for the scholarship
At HPFY, we strongly believe in corporate social responsibility<br /> and giving back to the communities we are privileged to serve. The *HPFY<br /> Make A Difference Scholarship* of *$1000* will be awarded to one(1)<br /> deserving high school senior who has spent at least 100 hours<br /> volunteering to provide care, comfort or service to those in need.

Requirements to qualify?
1. Be a current high school senior or a college<br /> student. If the applicant is a high school student, then he or she should have a letter of acceptance from an accredited University/College or Technical College for the fall of the academic year following high-school graduation. Schools must be in the USA.<br /> 2. Enrollment status in school or college must be full time.<br /> 3. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher<br /> 4. Have a minimum of 100 documented hours volunteering in the local community providing care, comfort and service to those in need. These hours can be collected over a period of two years.

Selection criteria among applicants
Applications are judged by committee members who evaluate application essays, achievements, and other documentation provided by applicants. The best one is picked out through a fair voting and is awarded the scholarship.
