Purpose for the scholarship
To provide opportunity to those Native American students who want to learn and succeed in their educational career.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be enrolled members of state or federally recognized tribes; must be undergraduate or graduate students who are majoring in any health-related pre-professional program; must have a minimum 2.0 GPA. (In exchange for financial aid, scholarship recipients agree to fulfill a service commitment in full-time clinical practice upon completion of their academic or post-graduate clinical training.)

Selection criteria among applicants
Academic Performance (40 points), Faculty/Employer Evaluations (30 points), Applicant Essays (30 points).
