Purpose for the scholarship
To assist in the transfer of health policy and health services research skills to the policy making setting, and to provide graduate students with a unique opportunity to learn about the political system through direct exposure to public or private sector roles in health policy development.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be students from any masters or doctoral program at UAB who have a demonstrated interest in health policy; an interest in learning more about health policy through direct experience; and the skills to make a contribution in the organization in which they will serve; should be within twelve months of completing all the requirements for their degree.
