Purpose for the scholarship
Provides scholarships in support of Black students in their pursuit of a nursing degree.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be in an accredited BSN or RN-BSN program, must identify as Black or African-American, and provide formal documentation demonstrating financial need. Membership in the Student Nurses Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP) and/or the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA) is highly recommended for those applicants who are currently enrolled in nursing pre-licensure programs.

Entries are judged based on essay responses and financial need.
