Purpose for the scholarship
To develop the potential of outstanding, young scientists and encouraging research in liver physiology and disease.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be sponsored by a public or private non-profit institution accredited in the United States, Canada or Mexico engaged in health care and health-related research; an AASLD member in good standing; and sponsored by a research mentor.

Selection criteria among applicants
Awards are made to eligible institutions and are for salary support only for the awardee.
