Purpose for the scholarship
To provide financial support to a qualified individual intending to pursue a career in professional or practical nursing education in Illinois.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a U.S citizen or an eligible non-citizen; must be an Illinois resident; be enrolled, or accepted for enrollment, on at least a half-time basis in an approved program of practical nursing education at an eligible Illinois college; must have a satisfactory academic progress as determined by the college; agree to the nurse employment or nurse educator employment obligation.
