Purpose for the scholarship To prepare and support students from rural Indiana to go back to their hometown as a primary care physician.
Requirements to qualify? Applicants should be residents of Indiana and be incoming freshmen who are admitted to the ISU by December 1 and must have the combination of two of the following three: a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale; an 1270 SAT (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math) or a 27 ACT, and reside in rural Indiana.
Selection criteria among applicants Selection is highly competitive and based upon academic and personal accomplishments, as well as performance in a winter interview competition.
