Purpose for the scholarship
To provide financial assistance to high school seniors who are planning to pursue a career in computer or electrical engineering.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be a graduating senior at Tuloso-Midway high school planning to pursue a degree in the fields of engineering or medicine; must be enrolled full time at a publicly supported two or four-year accredited college or university in Texas; must maintain a GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.

Selection criteria among applicants
Applicants are evaluated based on merit. Preference will be given to jazz musicians.
