Purpose for the scholarship To provide financial assistance for tuition and other related educational expenses to the University of Alaska Anchorage students majoring in the areas of Journalism, Engineering, Teacher Education or Nursing.
Requirements to qualify? Applicants must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 for undergraduate and 3.0 for graduate; formally admitted into a Journalism, Engineering, or Education undergraduate, graduate, certificate, and/or vocational degree-seeking program at the University of Alaska Anchorage; planning to enroll full-time (twelve credits for undergraduate and nine credits for graduate) at the University of Alaska Anchorage; and, incoming or continuing students at the University of Alaska Anchorage; must be U.S. citizens, non-U.S. citizens, Alaska residents, or out-of-state residents.
