Purpose for the scholarship
To recognize and support individuals for their significant contributions in the field of sport and physical activity.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a current member of SHAPE America; must be graduate students; must be majoring in the field of health, physical education, recreation or dance; must be enrolled in a matriculated full-time masters or doctoral program; must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 overall on a 4.0 grade point scale.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection will be based on scholastic proficiency, evidence of leadership, school, community, professional activity/service, character attributes.
