Purpose for the scholarship
To improve and enhance the quality of life in the Tri-Cities area by serving as a leader, catalyst and resource for philanthropy; to strive for community improvement through strategic grantmaking in such fields as arts, education, health, environment, youth, social services and other human needs.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be graduating seniors from Grand Haven High School, who demonstrate civic responsibility and plan to improve their community in the future.

Selection criteria among applicants
Recipients are selected based on academic performance; leadership ability; community and volunteer service; financial need; and special circumstances.
