Purpose for the scholarship
To improve and enhance the quality of life in the Tri-Cities area by serving as a leader, catalyst and resource for philanthropy; to strive for community improvement through strategic grantmaking in such fields as arts, education, health, environment, youth, social services and other human needs.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be graduating seniors of Grand Haven, Spring Lake or Western Michigan Christian high school; must have the desire to continue their education at an accredited four-year college, junior college, trade school or apprenticeship, preferably in Michigan.

Selection criteria among applicants
Recipients are selected based on financial need.
