To provide Award to students studying to be nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and certified nurse midwives.
Applicant must be a nurse practitioner, physician assistant or certified nurse midwives; recipients must fulfill an obligation to practice full time in a designated shortage area as an allied health care professional in Illinois for one year for each year of scholarship funding received.
Previous experience with medically under served populations; greatest financial need; academic capabilities.
