To support the professional development of individuals engaged in the undergraduate study of health information technology or health information management.
Applicants must be active student members of AHIMA with TxHIMA membership; be residents of the state of Texas for at least one year; be citizens of U.S. or hold permanent resident status; have a major of Health Information Administration or Technology and a minimum GPA of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale).
Nominations are solicited from the Program Directors of each Texas school and voted on by the TxHIMA Board of Directors.
