To support students pursuing health related fields.
Applicants must: be pursuing health related degrees and careers; be of Central American or other Latino ethnicity; demonstrate proven financial need; demonstrate a history of community involvement; possess a minimum 2.5 GPA; and, be either of the following: graduating high school seniors; current undergraduate, graduate, MPH, MD or Dentistry School students; community college students; or enrolled/studying at vocational/trade schools; they must also reside in the following areas: Los Angeles Area (specifically from those who are from Pico Union, South Los Angeles, Central LA, and surrounding schools).
Selection shall be based on the aforementioned applicants’ qualifications and compliance with the application details.
